Meg Wood is the Managing Director of NYBC Ventures, the Boston-based corporate venture fund of New York Blood Center (NYBC) Enterprises. At NYBC Ventures, Meg leads deal execution and portfolio management, while also serving as a Board member or observer for several portfolio companies.
Previously, as Vice President of Business Development at CD Ventures, Meg established and managed a $50 million fund focused on scientific research and innovation for rare diseases. She has extensive experience deploying investment capital in mission-driven fund structures.
Before her impactful tenure at CD Ventures, Meg honed her expertise at renowned institutions like MPM Capital, Tufts Medical Center, and Boston Medical Center, building a robust foundation in both investment and healthcare innovation.
