We are working on an autonomous blood drawing device with a team of >30 people. This breakthrough innovation, which is in a clinical stage of development, uses a combination of state-of-the-art imaging and robotics to perform an invasive clinical procedure.
Vitestro will be the first to bring autonomous blood drawing technology to European hospitals. Blood drawing, performed billions of times per year worldwide, is key to clinical diagnosis. Given a growing population and shortages of healthcare personnel, there is a clear need for a future-proof system to keep up with demand for diagnostics.
We are now looking for a clinical application specialist, who will act as the bridge between our technical team and the customer’s clinical department. You are the eyes and ears of our engineering team during the product validation tests. With your feedback, you will play an important role in product development and successful clinical application. You will develop in-depth working knowledge of the medical robotics device and troubleshoot its clinical application. At the same time, you are the face of Vitestro for patients and clinical personnel during clinical studies and, in a later stage, at product launch and roll-out. You will in short, become the expert when its comes to the clinical application of this completely novel medical device.
As our clinical application specialist, you will be responsible for amongst others:
You will work closely with the engineering team and product development team. You will report directly to the medical officer. You are also the first point of contact related to clinical trials for collaborating hospital departments.
Whereas initially the focus will be on product development, once we reach the market, you will also be involved in customer training and application support. Then you will also frequently visit laboratory departments to guide good clinical use of the device, enabling successful integration of the device in the clinical workflow.
